Did McCain's party do any research before picking a VP or just grab the first female politician they found so they could capitalize on the voters who only wanted Hilary in office because she has a vagina?

I think he took pictures of all the Republicans women in office and pick the one that looked the best to him. After all she is the winner of the Miss Wasilla contest.

From an article
"Her experience is as mayor of a city with a population of about 5,000 (at the time), and less than 2 years as governor of a state with about 670,000 residents. During her mayoral administration most of the actual work of running this small city was turned over to an administrator. She had been pushed to hire this administrator by party power-brokers after she had gotten herself into some trouble over precipitous firings which had given rise to a recall campaign."
Great choice Mr Magoo!!

going from McCain`s decades long history of womanizing, I think your suggestion of why McCain picked Palin is the most believable one I`ve read so far.

A lot more logical than anything else considering McCain is the new decider of the RW. -

Where’s your documentation on this claim? Or are you just making it up like the daily kos?

Great choice Mr Magoo!!
BLAHAHAHHH
“Given rise to a recall campaign”
ROFLMAO
Buckie almost all Gov have recall attempts against them, kinda like impeachment attempts against all presidents.
Any idiot can start a “recall” for whatever they want.
Now how many people were on board for this “recall”
LOL?
Do you know?
You don’t do you?
Your just being a mindless parrot yes?
Tell me, as a percentage of a population, what percentage would indicate a serious recall attempt?
Don’t know do you?
Buckie the so-called “recall” was a group of 60 People 60, did ya get that just 60. Not even enough people to qualify TO START A PETITION!
And your dumb enough to think this is a real issue? Dude you’re a gullible fool!
Alaska recall laws
STEPS IN THE PROCESS
The three petition processes follow the same basic steps:
· PREPARATION OF LANGUAGE by a petition committee for the application
· COLLECTION OF SIGNATURES of 100 qualified voters who agree to act as sponsors for petition circulation purposes
· APPLICATION for a petition presented to the Lt. Governor, or in the case of a recall, the Director of the Division of Elections.
· REVIEW by the Lt. Governor, Department of Law and Division of Elections
· PETITION BOOKLETS PRINTED by the Division of Elections for the petition committee
· COLLECTION OF SIGNATURES of qualified voters in at least 30 election districts who support the petition
· FILING OF THE PETITION with the Division of Elections
· REVIEW of signatures by the Division of Elections
· NOTIFICATION by the Lt. Governor if the petition is or is not sufficient (i.e., there were enough signatures) to appear on the ballot,or in the case of a recall, the Director of the Division of Elections.
· PREPARATION of ballot language -

Did you read that in the next election for mayor she had a 3 to 1 margin of victory. Before becoming governor she took on some Republican and two of them were forced to resign and one, the Republican party chairman in Alaska was fined $12,000. As Governor her favorable rating was between 80% and 90%. She is known as a fighter of corruption and a cutter of the budget to lower taxes. Alaskans love her.

Both his wife and VP pick are past beauty pageant winners. That had to be in his top five criteria.

I think McCain has visions of hunkering down in the bunker with Sarah and a cup of hot chocolate, waiting out nuclear winter and making babies to repopulate the earth.

They did more research than the democratic party did in vetting their Presidential pick. Palin is clearly more qualified to be on a ticket than Obama is for any position.

The Democrats are just angry because they picked their candidate only because he is black...and not for his actual policies.-

you don't know what you are talking about. obama's team started the vetting process as soon as he'd locked in the nomination. his team included caroline kennedy, who has NEVER come forward for a candidate before. mccain left his choice until the last minute, in a cynical attempt to pick up what he thought were "disaffected hillary voters". it's going to backfire on him badly.

and palin more qualified than obama??? where's her community organizing experience, her legislative experience, her national experience???
we didn't pick our candidate because he's black, but in spite of being of mixed race. we picked him because he is articulate, thoughtful and intelligent, not to mention his "actual policies".
