Unfortunately, the majority of all scripts coming out of Hollywood these days are remakes of other movies and comic books. Where are the real writers? Remakes and comic book movies won't (or shouldn't) win any academy awards but they sure pull in the dough. I suppose that that is all it's about anyway. Could be worse, Pixar could make all the movies. Than who would need actors anymore. All we would need is another Mel Blanc to do all the voices.

By the way, I don't know if anyone else noticed but the Pixar film "Cars" is really "Doc Hollywood" in cartoon form.
