Ind, I didn't want to do this. But I will show you the movie that, though it may not depict hell, will make you wish you were there...

Oh gawd! Event Horizon, hands down, is the creepiest movie I have ever seen! Totally deserved a spot on this list.

I was watching it with my wife one night and fell asleep. I woke up in the morning to find out my wife watched it till the end and couldn't sleep all night as a result.

She made me watch the whole thing but with daylight it wasn't as creepy.

"Prince of Darkness" has to be the creepiest. What's worse than God turning out to NOT be what He was leading you to believe all along, turning His back on His creation?

They neglected "The Golden Child" with Eddy Murphy. The "bad guy" has a scene where he is communing with hell. Pretty typical stuff. Also, "The Mummy Returns" with Dwayne Johnson.

I saw a movie with a clear and harrowing vision of hell. I saw it when I went to university.

                It was called "Titicut Follies".

If you really want to see Hell, find this movie. It will haunt you the rest of your life.
