Upon reading this I was thinking A Clockwork Orange would be on the list.

Is it still unlawful to show this movie in a theater in England?

A Clockwork Orange is one of my all time favorites! Awesome movie. This was a very interesting piece.

I must say, maybe it's because I'm a woman, but the opening rape scene in A Clockwork Orange ruined the film for me. I love Kubrick's brand of crazy, but that scene is too hard for me to even think about. As for banned films, there's some Italian horror that a friend showed me years ago that will make your head explode. SO GROSS, but so overt/decadent that you just can't look away.

"Island in the Sun" should be near the top of the list.

Some Road Runner & Sylvester & Tweety cartoons should be banned - outright cruelty & exploitation of cartoon animals.

Ane even worse Donald Duck,an adult duck being allowed to run around without pants! at children's matinees yet!
