Will Smith usually has good movies but this one looks like a sleeper but I will have to watch it once to be sure. I hate the way previews have become, either the tell you what the press has said about the film and nothing to do with the movie, or they show the best scenes and nothing to give you an idea what the movie is all about.

Take the movies "28 Days Later" and "28 Weeks Later" add some humor and better special effects and it is the same thing. Manmade disease kills and infects all the earth, some are immune, the infected are crazy and try to kill the immune.
This movie was all about hype and as stated, all the good parts are in the preview.

Omega man was a good flick, with Charlton Heston....but hey I only liked that cause Heston was white, just ask CUSHI...although last year I took my kids to see are we there yet with the rapper guy in it...Ice Cube I think it was...Funny movie. although I do not recall seeing any white folks in it, maybe there was.

I totally agree... I thought it was a great movie. Will Smith did an amazing job. I also agree that it could have ended a little differently, but what can you do?

I saw this film this weekend, and while it was not what I expected, it was a good film. I thought Will did a good job as the lead, they did a good job building suspense, and they did a good job "setting the stage" as far as what life would be like in that situation. Also, they did a great job, IMHO, showing the solitude that the character had to endure.
Yes, it was somewhat similar to 28 days/weeks, etc. but it was still good, and I think worth seeing.

I personally liked it. Very entertaining movie and i loved Will Smith in it, the development of his insanity was great. Best scene in the movie was when he saw fred and bugged out. I didn't exactly like the end as I was expecting her to get to the survivor camp have the doors open and find it in ruins.
My main problem with the movie was how they didn't address the intelligence of the dark seekers. It was apparent that as time went on in the movie they were getting smarter yet Will Smith's character never realized this. I think a cool ending would have been to have the woman arrive at the camp to find that the dark seekers had set up a sort of community.
I thought it was a great movie besides that.
