Not that I understand how Leonard Nimoy will be in the new "Star Trek" movie, considering it's a prequel that details an early adventure of the crew of the Enterprise --- but still, he's going to be in it, reprising his role as Spock. But no William Shatner!

No Shatner ? What's this world coming to . I guess the Priceline.com stint kinda affected his appeal .

Do we think he killed his wife? I haven't heard ANY evidence to make me think he did, except that his wife seemed about as important to him as the furniture. If so, then, he DID kill her... through a lack of love. The Biblical scripture of "Husbands love your lives", doesn't sound like it was followed much in the Shatner home. My mom, I feel, looks fantastic for her age, because she's getting a LOT of love from my dad. Well, whether Shatner killed her or not, he WAS Trek in my book. Without Shatner, all you'd have is great sound tracks and mediocre special effects.

Remember , The pendulum swings both ways . Shatner may have driven her away , but if she was not a loving wife , he may have buried himself in his work .

WHAT!?!?! Say it aint' so. No Captain Kirk?

I think Spock did him in. Tired of playing second fiddle and jealous that all the goodlookin' space-babes went after the Captain!

I think it was Lt. Uhura in a fit of jealous rage! Think about it. She was right there the whole show and Kirk wasted all his time with the alien babes.

Besides, Spock would be to logical to do such a thing.

It is kinda sad seeing Old Kirk not get the role. Not even a Cameo?

It may be like Shatner having to finally deal with the reality of his mortality.

Kirk dealing with the concept of death and the Kobayashi Maru.
