In an age devoted to the dutiful gross-out, "December Boys" is perhaps too proper, too satisfied with its sepia-toned sweetness. For better or worse, though, it's the kind of movie you could bring home to meet your sister. And it does demonstrate what Daniel Radcliffe can do in a non-magical setting.

I saw the reviews last week in NYC when I saw the movie: 11th Hour. (which I also recommend
December Boys looked interesting. I definitely will see it when it comes to my area.

Actually, he gets something more than a kiss in this one. But it's very tastefully done--as PG-13 as the day is long.
