This quote comes from this article on Fox News (which I'm irritated this article makes no mention of, because it leaves out some other stuff)
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,270874,00.html
To put it in context, the guy that actually talked to Lucas, Roger Friedman, has a tendency to exaggerate entertainment news. The original Fox article also says:
"The two extra films will also be made for TV and probably be an hour long each. But, like "Clone Wars," Lucas doesn't know where on TV they will land."
I think Friedman misinterpreted Lucas' plans to make a live-action television show... that makes a lot more sense than George Lucas making a series of one hour made for TV movies... I've seen longer episodes of The Shield

i don't know. george lucas probably just asked himself "what can do to further filth my own legacy." and Made-for-TV-Movie was just unavoidable!
he's worthless... he insists that Empire is the worst of his films. he got his name tied to his prodcuers and REAL director's films. he has absolutely no taste and talent. i think the writer probably got the nail on the head. lucas is doing anything he can sell. and he can sell a movie for more money than he can sell and entire season of shows.

The GOOD side of Any Rand, you mean.
Not the "unfettered capitalism" and "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" Republican elitists crap that Rand espoused, but the idea that people are NOT created equal, some are more clever and intelligent and capable than others, and the masses ought to just deal with it.
Rand was born into a well-to-do family in pre-Soviet Russia, so of course the mere idea that the government might give a dime to poor people horrified her. She was, however, OK with government standing by and watching big business exploit the masses. She would have adored Chicago circa 1900, where her father and mother could have gotten rich off destitute immigrants.
To her, that was "free will" in action.
Randy

Hurry, let's e-mail Congress and get them to pass a bill to put and end to Star Wars flicks. Not to mention Star Trek. For how many decades must we stand this?
