Dec. 4, 2006, 3:50 p.m.If Mahony wasn't a coward hiding behind a clerical collar, he would be arrested, jailed and tried for complecity in the sexual abuse by priests that he knew about and covered up. Why does the law look the other way when the perpetrator is a priest? These men may talk goodness and piety but they are evil. The Catholic Church doesn't do anyhthing it isn't forced to do. It's only interest is the money it takes in.
